lol i log in the game just to make some duels and kill some ppl in red/black..( cause i've tested almost anything and don't want to loose more time in this and loose everithing on some confused date to start all over again ) and now.. its like 1 hour to see someone.. without saying that your walking 1 - 2 hours looking for some action and finally you find someone and puff 15 survivors to scare me back to town where used to be 100 ppl and now its just between 5-40 .. and those 40 show up 3 times a month maybe . unless you do duels with your guildmates.. u dont even have ppl to duel .. its always the same ppl now for ex: KIngspool - MaxK, HeavySmoker, ArcVin, Fdps, Ballantine, harlem ,amon the point is that is getting boring wihout that bunch of ppl we had in towns and other zones .. and farming and crafting without objectives because you know you'll have to do all over again with those wipes and oficial launch ... even i think its a 4ever beta
Thats very discouraging to read. Looks like developers really used founders pack for moneygrab with no regard of founders' experience out of it. I thought only newcomers like me see no point in playing when you realise there is wipe ahead, while on high tiers people still rage wars for domination as some non-mmorpg, strategy game with pvp action. But i see the lack of purpose in progression (wipe ahead) kills the game on all tiers. How can they claim they test the game, when noone play it as they would with no wipes ahead? What are they testing then? Amount of money that can come with founders packs? People's patience?

Irony that we paid to work as test subjects in the game empty of purpose and fun. To bad founders' packs selling Albion Online Gold page doesnt include information about wipes, but insetad deludes people with phrases like: "you’ll be among the very first to enter Albion Online’s Closed Beta testing." suggesting you will be the first to play the game - THE GAME - there is no game with wipes ahead.

There will be a game that will have perma death, also a game that will have only worlds for certain period of time. Surprise, both are MMOs. MMO is not a persistent progress, even MMORPG doesn't have to have that. It is just a way it usually is. Your issue just is you didn't inform yourself on beta test. That is all. Don't blame others for it. :)

P.S. It is not just about testing mechanics, also about testing economy and progress. That is why we have to grind. If you don't like it you can wait till release mate.
