I personally think companies are getting too greedy. I don't mind paying for a game, but make it paid for everyone and everyone is on the same level. Don't allow in-game gold buying - you want to get ahead? Work for it. This is how it was in the old school games.All of these new models where the only way to stay competitive is to spend hundreds of dollars is just taking the fun out of the game for 99% of players that eventually will get to the point of understanding the amount of money they have to spend and quit.
