Belrade, 25 april - The Belgrade Marathon will be held on Sunday, 27th April 2014, for the 27th time. The Belgrade Marathon is Serbia's biggest sports events that attracts the largest attendance, and as such has been declared an event of special importance for the Belgrade. Tref Sport Sportska Oprema is one of the main sponsors of this year rece.

How it begins? At the initiative of Đokо Vještica, a journalist of the radio station «Studio B» and Brana Radović, a track-and-field enthusiast, and in the organization of the Belgrade authorities, the first Belgrade Marathon is held. The course is neither marathon nor half-marathon one. It is 23 kilometer’s long, and the race features only home athletes. 1989 The same team organises the second race, this time twice as long, the course equals 46,7 kilometer’s in length, and for the first time several foreign athletes participate.

The Belgrade Marathon comprises the 5km Fun Run, half marathon and marathon. It is considered to be the major sports and promotional event that is traditionally held in the Serbia. Together, the Children's Marathon and the Belgrade Marathon draw significant attention from worldwide media every spring.

How to register? Registration for participation in half marathon and marathon will take place in the Registration Centre which will be open: from 21st to 26th April 2014 at Nikola Pašić square. The Registration Centre will be open every day from 10:00h to 20:00h except on Saturday (26th April 2014) when it will open at 10:00 and close at 16:00h.

On Sunday 27th April 2014, only those who have already registered and paid their packages will be able to collect their participant’s packs only strictly before 9:00h. On Sunday, picking up the race packages will be organized in prestart area at Nikola Pašić Sqare.

- Registration and payment on the day of marathon (27 April 2014) is not possible!
- From 21-26 April payment for race packs will be accepted only in the Registration Center and strictly in RSD.
