[Salt Lake City, July 13, 2016] – Dr. Joel D. Wallach is the author of the book Dead Doctors Don’t Lie, a 400-page autobiography featuring the obstacles he faced while trying to convince the medical community about the importance of nutrition in living longer and healthier lives.
The Emergence of Dr. Wallach’s Trademark Battle Cry
Dr. Wallach says he accidentally blurted out the title of the book in one of his public health lectures in Coconut Grove, Florida. He was presenting a lecture about the normal life span of medical doctors, and provided numerous studies like one from The Journal of the American Medical Association. The research reveals medical doctors until the present time die sooner than most people.
The author shares the usual indicators such as workload and stress, but he claims it is mainly because of the lack of nutritional education. He says doctors are taught many things except how they should properly take care of their health.
At the lecture in Florida, one of his attendees asked him why he kept presenting doctor obituaries in a nutrition seminar. According to Dr. Wallach himself, that was the moment he answered, “Because dead doctors don’t lie.” He says the line became a recurring theme in his life while he was struggling to get the approval of the medical community.

Dr. Wallach’s book comes in digital podcast so readers can listen on the phone for 90 minutes. It is also available in presentation format with slides, articles, and charts. He uses this for all of his lectures across the globe.
