In November 2021, national flag carrier airline Thai Airways International was granted approval by the Singapore Government and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) to offer Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) flight tickets to Singapore from Bangkok.
With the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL), vaccinated and eligible travelers with flight tickets to Singapore can enjoy entry into the country without any quarantine requirements.
Starting on 14 December 2021, TG403 began operating daily service departing Bangkok at 08.00 and arriving in Singapore at 11.35 local time. TG404 departs from Singapore at 12.25 local time and arrives in Bangkok at 13.45.
Foreign short-term visitors must apply for a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) online, between 3 and 60 days prior to their intended date of entry into Singapore. Long-Term Pass holders (excluding Work Permit Holders) do not need to apply for a VTP (Air). Children below age 12 additionally do not need to apply for a VTP.
VTP applications can be made online using the SafeTravel website, while flight tickets to Singapore can be booked through the Thai Airways International VTL page. SafeTravel has advised that there is no limit of VTP’s issued per day, and travelers do not need to rush to apply.
The Thai Airways Singapore VTL page contains additional information on eligibility, applications, tests and requirements, and more.
