As the result of a neurological effects of a stroke, Jon became a wildly prolific artist. His work has been featured in museums and publications such as GQ, The New Yorker, the Metropolitan Museum of Art as well as the New York Times.

Boston, MA-NH - Contemporary artist, Jon Sarkin will showcase his imagery at the 31 Nights of Light Event on December 3rd from 4:30-7:30 PM honoring NTI for their achievements in helping Americans with Disabilities back into the workplace. As the result of neurological effects of a stroke, Jon became a wildly prolific artist. His condition, otherwise known as sudden artistic output, affected his perception of the world.

Jon's work has been featured in publications as well as documentaries including GQ, The New Yorker, the New York Times, ArtNews, Primetime Live, the Discovery Channel and the BBC. His exhibits have been showcased throughout the world. His biography was released in 2011 by Pulitzer-prize winning author Amy Ellis Nutt. Recently, Paramount Pictures and Tom Cruise acquired the story of Jon for an upcoming movie.

His pieces will be curated by the Charles Washburn, President of the Seven Hills Foundation. Charles introduced NTI to Jon to help make an eclectic event filled with a broad scope of achievements in disability from the disciplines of art, science, technology, and athletics.
