With worldwide travel restrictions continuing to ease and as Thailand fully opens for tourism, the national flag carrier airline of Thailand, Thai Airways International, has recently announced the “Time to Gold” package, a new frequent flyer promotion reserved for ROP members, that is available for purchase for a limited time only.
THAI has launched the latest frequent flyer promotion that consists of a 350,000 THB air ticket cash credit voucher, and comes with a complimentary two-year Gold Card Royal Orchid Plus membership, including full status benefits.
Chief Commercial Officer at Thai Airways, Mr. Nond Kalinta, announced the “Time to Gold” package in response to the growing demand for air travel. As a show of support and appreciation for existing ROP members, THAI will also automatically extend ROP Gold and Platinum membership status for those expiring in 2022 to the following year.
The “Time to Gold” package is strictly reserved for Royal Orchid Plus members, though registration for THAI’s frequent flyer program is convenient online, and free to join. To enroll, visit the Royal Orchid Membership application on the Thai Airways website.
For existing Basic and Silver ROP members, the purchase of the “Time to Gold” package will elevate their status, while Gold and Platinum members will be awarded 6,200 bonus miles – which can also be given as a gift. The package is only available for purchase until 31 July 2022.
In Asia, the offer is available in Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, South Korea, and Singapore. In Europe, the package can be purchased in Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. The frequent flyer promotion is also available in Australia.
