Last month, Women in Cloud (WIC), a community-led economic development organization, launched their WICxLEAD program, designed to empower corporate women and entrepreneurs to ignite economic access.
A growing tidal wave hitting businesses can be summarized in three letters – ESG. The environmental, social and governance investing movement may not have fully grabbed the public’s attention – yet – but it is rapidly growing on national and international business radars. In fact, ESG assets are expected to exceed $50 trillion globally by 2025.
Over a 12-month period, WICxLEAD, 25 purpose-driven scholars will learn how to be among the first to lead and influence digital transformation projects through cloud and AI technology, teaching them how to grow their executive presence, personal brand identity, public speaking impact, global access creation and community development strategies giving them a powerful platform to accelerate as industry ESG influencers and purpose-driven leaders.
“ESG reporting has become a priority for C-suite leaders and their boards”, says Tucker Stine, Co-Facilitator of the WICxLEAD program. “ESG-related performance improvements and reporting are no longer optional for businesses. This is our future gold standard of excellence.”
The uniquely created programming will help corporate women find and define their leadership purpose and create impactful ESG strategies, operating models and reporting mechanisms that support women tech entrepreneurs in the supplier ecosystem. Scholars will also gain access to a global network while learning from industry experts to accelerate their influence and market impact.
“WICxLEAD is designed as an industry solution to help corporate executives drive business outcomes via ESG acceleration and gain a competitive edge in the marketplace by providing leadership opportunities for women to grow both professionally and personally” said Chaitra Vedullapalli, President and Co-Founder of Women in Cloud, and one of the facilitators of WICxLEAD.
Open to women-led companies and corporations looking to develop their women leaders, applications for the program are open until Jun30th, 2022. To learn more about the WICxLEAD program and secure your spot visit: https://womenincloud.com/wicxlead/.
