Annapurna College gets opportunity to collaborate with experts to inspire aspiring filmmakers

Annapurna College of Film and Media, Hyderabad, launched “In Conversation with Industry Experts” - A series of Webinars, addressing the needs of online learning for the semester at College.

Hosted by the Dean Dr. Anuradha Rao, the weekly virtual pop-up events open to the online community of aspiring filmmakers - allowing them to understand the dynamics of filmmaking and the importance of film related courses.

Ms. Dia Mirza, an award-winning Actor, Producer, UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador & United Nations Secretary-General Advocate for Sustainable Development Goals was guest at this discussion and spoke as an Actor, producer and a champion of nature.

In a delightful session she shared her outlook on the film industry and her causes, answering numerous questions intuitively.

Key take aways were the importance of both creative and technical skills to succeed in the industry, how to evaluation and select scripts, her mantra to succeed in the industry, her journey and learnings from her experience both as an Actor and Producer.

She also discussed acting, production, scriptwriting, editing and direction enhancing and widening the range of understanding for aspirants.

With over 400 attendees every week, across different continents Annapurna College of Film and Media, Hyderabad leverages the opportunity to create an online community along with industry experts to guide next generation of filmmakers. Thank you Ms. Dia Mirza for inspiring the younger generation.
