Precautions of using castable:

1) Proportion: When mixing the castable, the water amount should be strictly controlled according to the manual, and shall not exceed the limit. Under the precondition of ensure the construction performance, the amount of water added should be less. There have many kinds of refractory products in our factory. 2) Mixing: The mixing time of the castable should not be less than 5 minutes (according to the requirements of the manual), and need to use forced mixer. Dry mixing first, then add 80% of the amount of water mixing, and then depending on the degree of wet and dry, slowly add the remaining water to continue mixing until the appropriate degree of work.

3) the use: The castable must be used in the whole bag, and mixed castable generally have to be used within 30 minutes. If in high-temperature dry operating environment, we need to shorten this time. Initial setting, or caking of refractory castable shall not be poured into the mold, or use by adding extra water.

4) Vibration: The castable poured into the mold should be vibrated immediately, the height of each layer should be no more than 300mm, vibration space is about 250mm. Vibration should avoid touching the anchor, not damage the insulation layer, not at the same location for a long time. When see the castable material surface back to slurry, pull the vibration rod out of the castable slowly to avoid segregation and empty.There have many kinds of refractory products in our factory, such as fire brick , refractory raw material and other refractory nozzle.
