For the Vanilla Cake:
• 1½ cups all-purpose flour

• ¾ cup sugar
• ½ cup oil
• ½ cup curd
• ½ cup milk

• 1 tbsp white vinegar or lemon juice
For the Pink Frosting:
• ½ cup butter (softened)
• 1½ cups powdered sugar (sifted)
• 2 tbsp milk (adjust for consistency)
• Few drops of vanilla essence

Instructions
• Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line an 8-inch round or square cake pan.
• In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and baking soda. Set aside.
• In another bowl, whisk together sugar and curd until smooth.
• Add oil, vanilla essence, and milk.
• Stir in the vinegar or lemon juice.
• Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula.
• Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
• Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
• Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
• Then transfer to a wire rack and let it cool completely before frosting.
For the Pink Frosting
1. Beat the butter until soft and fluffy.
2. Add powdered sugar gradually and beat until smooth. Add vanilla essence.
3. Add milk a tablespoon at a time to get a creamy consistency.
4. Mix in pink food color from Anuja Food Colours until you reach the desired shade.
5. Frost the cooled cake using a spatula or piping bag for a decorative finish.
Assembly
• Add the pink frosting on the vanilla cake as desired
