About the Author
Cynthia Moore was born in Charleston, South Carolina, and grew up in rural western North Carolina. A recipient of the prestigious Salem College President’s Prize for Art in 1967, Cynthia’s creative journey has been as diverse as it is inspiring. After graduating, she relocated to Sleepy Hollow, Illinois, where she dedicated herself to teaching, raising her family, and exploring her artistic passions.
Cynthia’s artistic repertoire includes abstract paper collages, slab-built ceramic sculptures, and her beloved “ABC Art” alphabet characters, all of which have earned numerous accolades. Her travels with the Road Scholar program have fueled her creativity, inspiring Lucinda Stories, a captivating collection drawn from personal experiences and adventures.
