At American Friends of Yad Eliezer/B'ezri, we do charity for Israel and provide an opportunity to others to take an active role in charitable work. People give us funds so we can run our programs. We work for poverty alleviation, providing quality education to poor people, and fund holidays for IDF soldiers.
“Our volunteers gather data about needy people through surveys, community consultations, and research to identify needy people and prepare programs to provide real help to the needy persons. For example, take our food support program. Its objective is to provide food to everyone. Similarly, we have a dedicated program for students,” said the owner of Bezri.
To make social programs successful, we need funds to buy resources. The good thing is that we have different ways of raising funds. For example, we get donations to Israel from individual donors, government grants, corporate partnerships, and fundraising events. Also, we take pride in announcing our association with big corporate houses who are loyal partners and donors.
Once the programs are designed and funds received, we start executing the programs. Soon we start delivering services according to the programs. For example, take winter warmth program that involves giving warm clothes the homeless people. Similarly, we have a dedicated program for school-going kids of poor families. We have many programs and we want to run a program for everyone.
“Monitoring and evaluation are important parts of our programs. Also, we have specific indicators to track the progress of programs. We measure outcomes and impact to determine the success of donations to Israel. We collect data on important aspects such as the number of beneficiaries served, and the overall effectiveness of our programs. This information helps us identify areas for improvement and make decisions according to facts,” said the owner of Bezri.
At Bezri, we also aware and educate people about the benefits of charity. There are many people looking forward to capable persons for help. They are in need and they rely only on alms to meet their ends. And the only way to help them is to understand their needs and run charity programs. It is what we do at Bezri.
We run an orphanage in Israel for orphaned kids who have nowhere to go. They need our help. They need shelter, meal, clothing, healthcare services, and schooling. We provide them everything they need to become independent when grown up.
