How to write a book information is something more and more people want these days. Studies have shown that three out of four people would like to write a book in their lifetime. These people are always looking for advice on how to write the book they dream about writing.

Most people have three major obstacles between their desire to write a book and their ability to do it. If they don't overcome all these obstacles, they won't be able to make their writing dream come true.

The obstacles include: lacking the know-how to organize their thoughts, lacking the writing skill necessary to write a book, and lacking the time to write.

Here's the how to write advice you need to overcome these obstacles:

1. The first essential aspect of how to write a book is learning to organize your thoughts so your subject matter makes sense. When you learn how to write a book, you want to learn how to write in an orderly way.

The best way to do this is to start with a "brain dump." Scribble down every major topic you can think of for your book. For example, if you want to write a book on gardening, you may write down topics like tools, seeds, fertilizing, pesticides, organic techniques, greenhouses, flowers, grass, trees, etc.

Once you have your main topics, think about what order will make the most sense to your reader. After you have the order, start making lists of what information you'll need to include for each topic. Organizing your book is a must before you start to write.

2. The second must-have before you write a book is the writing skill to pull it off. You need to work on the how to write basics in order to write well-constructed sentences and paragraphs for your book.

Taking a how to write course or reading a how to write manual is an essential part of getting ready to write a book. Learn the craft of writing.

3. The third key to learning how to write a book is learning how to create time in your life to do it. The best way to create this time is by carving it out in little pieces. A book doesn't get written in a day, not even by the most prolific of writers.

When you get in the practice of writing a little everyday (whether you have five minutes or five hours to spare), you'll be amazed at how much you can improve your writing skills on a day to day basis, and you'll be amazed at how much you can write over time. A couple years ago, I wrote a 920-page novel in 5 weeks--I wrote about 5 hours a day. How was I able to write 35 to 40 pages in 5 hours each day? I was able to do it because I'd spent years learning how to write often and quickly. The more you write, the more you'll know how to write fast (and well)!
