The Yorkshire Terrier is one of the most popular and lovable breeds in the world. Also known as the Yorkie, this wonderful little dog originated in Northern England, where it was intended to hunt vermin, such as mice, rats and other rodents. Description: The Yorkie is considered to be one of the smaller dogs in the Toy Group. It has a flat head on top, a small black nose and small dark eyes. The judges at the shows will be looking for teeth with a level bite and erect ears which form a "V" shape.
