New President of the Widener University Health Care Management Elected

At the annual meeting of the Widener University Health Care Management Alumni Association, Paul Szklarski, FACHE was elected president of the Association for the coming year.
 
Chester, PA - At the annual meeting of the Widener University Health Care Management Alumni Association, Paul Szklarski, FACHE was elected president of the Association for the coming year. He is the fourth president to preside over this young alumni association.

Szklarski’s background includes experience in academic medicine, medical practice acquisitions and operations, and corporate health services. He is responsible for the successful development of new healthcare services that dominated their markets. “I am honored to be trusted with this opportunity to lead the alumni association” said Szklarski “the leadership and broad expertise of the alumni is truly powerful.” Szklarski continues “I am proud of my MBA from Widener University and my education has served me well in my career - it is time to give back.” He is the founder and chair of the Health Industry Resource Group, an organization dedicated to increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare. Szklarski is also a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and a consulting partner in a New York consulting firm.

Michael D. Rosko, PhD, Professor, Health Care Management and Faculty Advisor for the HCM alumni association says “I am excited to see Paul’s goals for the HCM Alumni Association and we look forward to working together for the success of the Health Care Management MBA program.”
