Shawnee on Delaware, Pennsylvania – Adding to their list of River Adventures, The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort announces River Tours through the wild and scenic Delaware River to begin on June 11, 2016. Shawnee currently offers river trips on Kayaks, Canoes and Rafts varying from 3 miles down the river up to 10 mile trips. The resort is excited to announce the new addition to their river activities.

River Tours take guests through the river on a six passenger pontoon boat where they experience the wildlife and beautiful scenery surrounding the Delaware River. Guests enjoy narration of interesting facts about the surrounding area and history about the resort during this hour long tour. Currently the tours run on weekends but will begin a daily schedule on June 20.

Midweek prices, Monday through Friday, are $35.00 per adult and $20.00 per child 12 and under while Saturday and Sunday are $40.00 and $25.00. Trips begin at 8:30am, running every 90 minutes until 5:30pm.
