Creators of the Hyper Sport smart electric motorcycle, Damon Motors announced that it plans to build a clean tech manufacturing and R&D facility in Surrey, B.C. The 110,000 square foot facility will be developed in partnership with Bosa Properties.

After the company has seen staggering demand for the Hyper Sport bike, expending their line of offering, and reaping awards while they continue to grow, Damon Motors select Surrey as the locality for their continued expansion and growth.

Damon will need to supply pre-orders that came in as high as $40 M already, which we estimate can represent an easy 1750 units, considering the four model variants at different pricing points. That’s a great sign from riders and fans to Damon, saying just how excited they are for what’s coming.

The facility planned in Surrey is set to replace current production space operated by Damon On Powell street in Vancouver. Surrey Mayor Doug Mc Callum and Bruce Ralston , B.C. Minister of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation, will be among the dignitaries in attendance.
