Vancouver, Canada – October 27, 2016 – WhiteCloud Software released EAComposer version 3.5 to add reporting & analysis capabilities to the product offering. EAComposer is an innovative, modern enterprise architecture software tool, delivered using the cloud (SaaS) with a clean web based architecture.

The reporting & analysis features allow users to quickly, without any SQL knowledge create simple but very effective reports and insights. The end report is produced in a MS Excel like format which the user can then modify, tailor to their specific needs e.g. highlighting, adding comments, etc. The report can also be downloaded as an excel document. A perfect blend with easy to use reporting features and the flexibility to tailor the report results in a well-known MS Excel like interface.

Impact Analysis Report
Probably one of the most common reporting requirements for EA’s. Getting insight into which architecture components are impacted by a specific component. E.g. which components are impacted by application 'SAP Finance' or which architecture components are impacted by 'WebSphere Application Server'.

Traceability Report
In certain ways the opposite of an impact analysis report, this report type enables traceability starting at the specific component you want to trace. This kind of reporting is useful for questions like 'how is this strategy support' or 'how this business capability is used'.

Validation Report
Validation reports provide insight on data quality aspects of your architecture repository but the usage stretches beyond data quality reporting. Used to answer questions around key properties and relationships for a specific component type exist and answers questions like 'show me all applications that don't have an associated platform related' or ‘show me all applications that don’t produce any interfaces’.

Advanced Catalog Report
One of the core TOGAF artifacts are catalogs which produce an inventory-like list for a selected component type. This is commonly used to maintain things like a list of standards e.g. a list of applications could be used to create a standards Application Catalog which is a very common usage.

Advanced Matrix Report
Last but not least are our Matrix reports which, as it names suggests, create a matrix view for two types of components and see they connect. A very common example is an Application-Function matrix which will show your applications (rows) and your functions (columns) and would mark which applications are enabling which functions. Matrices are also core TOGAF artifacts.
