The Australian Institute of Accreditation, a licensed provider of nationally recognised certifications, offers an online Food Safety Supervisor course.

Upon completion of this course, the students will receive a Food Safety Supervisor certificate that is valid across Australia.

[b]Course Description[/b]

This course is specifically designed for aspiring food safety supervisors. It covers all the knowledge and skills that a food safety supervisor must learn in able to ensure food safety in their workplace.

The course is available through an online portal, and students can access it anytime, anywhere. It includes interactive learning content and assessment tools such as scenario questions and multiple choice quizzes. To complete the course, the students must submit all the assessment requirements, including a name and contact details of someone in their workplace who can provide an Observation Work Report for them.

[b]Course Duration[/b]

Generally, completing this course will only take around 3-4 hours a day. The online portal allows students to access the course whenever they want. Upon signing up, the students have 12 months to complete the course.

[b]Units of Competency[/b]

• SIXFSA101 Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety
• SIXFSA201 Participate in Safe Food Handling Practices

Upon completion of this course, Australian Institute of Accreditation will award students with a nationally recognised Food Safety Supervisor certificate. However, in New South Wales, apart from this certificate, a food safety supervisor must also have a NSW Food Authority Certificate. The institution can provide this additional certificate at an additional cost.

Australian Institute of Accreditation partners with Wise Education Group Pty Ltd in able to issue the units of competency for this course.
