When the season is so hectic, time can be difficult to create as a parent, but you know that each of your children still needs to offer those moments when they feel special and appreciated.
 
Parents of kids have to work extra hard on winter birthdays to make them feel unique like those we celebrate in warmer months!

Birthday celebrations, especially in December and January, can easily be lost in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. Between school concerts, office parties and all the rush and holiday hoopla, it takes some effort to make your cold birthdays memorable.

When it comes to gifts, single out your birthday boy.

A team member celebrating Christmas Day shared her family's other strategies to make her feel unique during all the celebrations.

For him the greatest difference was one of the smallest items in his gift wrap. Instead of snowmen and Santa Clauses, her holiday presents were held separately and wrapped in shiny, birthday papers. Her family did not combine her gifts to end up missing the joy of the birthday.

"The best known birthday of the year isn't easy to share," she said. But my family was trying to really give me a fair chance to celebrate. In combination with letting myself and friends rejoice a few weeks after the day, I never felt neglected or exhausted.'
