Audrey Woodley Honors Women Entrepreneurs Who’ve Battled with
Breast Cancer at ‘Beauty for a Cause’ Event

Local Business Strategist and Branding Coach to Share Vital Health and Branding Tips at
Empowerment Workshop and Benefit

CHICAGO, IL— Women are taking the economy by storm as they turn to entrepreneurship in
record numbers. Among the 36% of female business owners nationwide is Audrey Woodley:
Chicago-based trailblazer, empowerment coach, and founder of Destination Media and
Changing Oasis, Inc. Woodley is pleased to announce today that she will provide a
life-changing branding workshop, Beauty for a Cause, on October 16, 2016, at Sophie’s
Restaurant.

Beauty for a Cause is a two-in-one event that honors women who have battled with breast
cancer while providing an all-inclusive branding workshop for women entrepreneurs. Woodley
will equip attendees with the strategies, tools and resources they need to dominate the
marketplace and find fulfillment in their personal lives.

Honored at this event will be 2016 Recipient, Tatisa Joiner of the Tatisa Joiner Foundation.
Beauty for a Cause is paying homage to Tatisa Joiner for her vision to pair survivors with newly
diagnosed and ongoing breast cancer patients in order to help them face their challenges.

Beauty for a Cause will be sponsored by Jo Malone and accompanied by speaker Jo Ann
Madden, Executive Director and survivor for top company Estee Lauder.

Woodley’s inspiration for the event stems from the compassion of her mother, Rita Woodley,
who continued to do the things she loved, such as baking cookies, cleaning, and hosting parties
throughout her 10-year battle with cancer.

“My mom leaves a legacy of love and hope,” said Woodley. “I want to host ‘Beauty for a Cause’
in her name because, as we all know, battling cancer is not easy. You have to have a strong
mindset and courageous lifestyle--like my mom, to fight through it.”

Beauty for a Cause educates women on ways to beat this challenging disease while highlighting
what truly matters in a fulfilling career. The workshop includes the following:
● “7 Keys to Balancing Health and Career”

● A journal outlining a roadmap to attendees’ desired business destinations

● A personalized dreamboard to provide clarity and focus for a specific life goal

● Beauty and business tips

“I look forward to leveraging my vast experience in education and leadership, as well as my
partnerships with major brands such as MAC, Jo Malone, Nordstrom, Macy’s and Panera
Bread, to nurture the minds of young women and groom them for a successful future” Woodley
added.

Beauty for a Cause will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2016, from 12pm-3pm at Sophie’s
Restaurant at Saks Fifth Avenue (700 N. Michigan) 7th flr. To purchase tickets, visit Audrey
Woodley’s website at www.audrewoodley.com.
