World of Warcraft has been a popular online game played by many people. The game was released in 2004 and reached its peak popularity in 2010. In respond to the petition and the ruckus within the community of World of Warcraft players, Blizzard agreed to meet with Nostalrius to discuss about this matter further.

Regarding this opportunity to sit down and talk about things, Nostalrius stated that they that it is necessary. They feel that they’re not the admins of the legacy server but not, they’re the ambassadors of a part of the World of Warcraft community that wants to see the history of World of Warcraft to be restored properly. They also noted that it’s a huge responsibility and their top priorities are to fulfill the needs of the community by carrying the demands of the game players directly to Blizzard.

The meeting between the two parties gain mixed reactions from different people. Aside of the people who are supportive with the idea of keeping the legacy server, some people are against this idea. These people are afraid of the possibility of legacy server to pull away the developer’s resources meant to develop new contents for the main version of the World of Warcraft game.
