Graphic Era University and Graphic Era Hill University’s annual fest – Grafest was held recently. Several competitions were conducted for the students and they showed their excellence in extracurricular activities in addition to their technical skills.

The technical competitions were mainly making robot, cart, boat, bridge etc and the students had excelled in their skills beyond expectation. The program ended with a musical extravaganza by Amit Trivedi and his team. The students expressed their love for music by tapping and rolling to the music. The closing ceremony was presided over by Dr Kamal Ghanshal, who was proud of having hosted the event for the past 22 years and the level of healthy and intellectual competition among the students. This healthy educational environment has made it the best engineering university in India.

The University that was offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, BBA, MCA, BCA, and Ph.D courses, witnessed the students compete at several levels at robotic excellence. The creations by the students were par excellence. There was Robo war, Aqua robotics, Robo race and Robo soccer in the robotics sections. The talented students presented great future for the country. There was also a Junkyard creation competition where the students had to come up with their own creations with goods from the junkyard. This was a great challenge but being the students of the best engineering college of India, they had crossed the technical threshold and went in to create the magneto car and bagged the first prize. There was also other skill game like Jenga, which was an individual competition. There were also competitions in creating bridge and even coding so that the skills of the students in the IT sector would also be analysed. There were also competitions in the business section with the Brand War and quiz competitions.

The contests were not just confined to technical ones; there were also dance performances, duet dance contest and the students showed their skills in both technical and entertainment sections, proving that they are multitalented.
