USA, California, Stockton, May, 20, 2013 – ‘Culturally on Plan, A Pragmatic Guide for Aligning Organizational Culture with a Strategic Plan and Transforming Management to Leadership,’ authored by Greg Lane, founder of Low Volume Lean Center, an institute that supports organizations worldwide in leadership improvements and lean transformation, has undergone second revision and the new book will be available on May 30, 2013.

Greg Lane, founder of Low Volume Lean Center, had been one of the few chosen to be developed as a Toyota Key Person through specialized training in Japan in the late 1980s. During this phase he had the opportunity to work with the top trainers of Toyota and later train others in Toyota at their U.S. sites. According to Lane, “it’s not technical tools and methodologies that drive the break-throughs; instead, it’s cascading leadership throughout the organization and focusing leaders on a clearly communicated and deployed strategy.”

The new book that throws light on the importance of linking culture and strategy for improving the profitability of an organization includes additional examples of companies which, supported by the institute, have linked culture to their strategic plans thus succeeding in improving gains and meeting objectives.

Over the last 25 years, Lane has supported various organizations across 32 countries in bringing about leadership improvements. Today he is an internationally acclaimed coach in creating change in organizations with diverse business environments. In addition to being an author on various topics related to leadership and lean transformation, he is also a renowned speaker who has been invited to various venues on the five continents to speak on these subjects, and on his personal experiences and successes.

To throw more light on Greg Lane’s credentials, he is a faculty member of the Lean Institutes in the USA and Spain and lecturer of post-graduate lean studies at the University Polytechnic Barcelona. He holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA degree with distinction from California State University. He speaks English, Spanish and German.

Low Volume Lean Center, spearheaded by Greg Lane, helps business organizations bring about quality improvements, cost reduction and improved results through a quantifiable process that involves removing non-value added activities, increasing savings and re-investing savings profitably. The Center focuses on leadership improvement through cultural change. The Center supports Kaizen and Lean transformations with guaranteed results and a promise of full refund in the event of the organizations not experiencing any positive improvement in their productivity.
