At that point the site will be live with a payment gateway and fully functional. You may wonder why don't you have auctions? The answer is we have developed an auction module but until we have a large amount of users, whats the point. Until we have a large amount of listings and users its basically pointless. How do I buy a Gun?
To buy a gun in the US, you must: Be at least 18 years old for a long gun (e.g. rifle, shotgun) and 21 for a handgun Pass a background check through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS)
How to Sell a Gun?
If you are not an FFL and selling a gun, you will need an FFL to ship you gun to the buyers FFL where the buyer will undergo a NICS background check and take possession. Make sure you receive payment in full before shipping your gun.
Do I Need an FFL?
As a seller you do not, but you do need to have an FFL do the transfer of the gun to the buyers FFL. Please contact your local FFL who can facilitate the legal transfer to the buyers FFL.
Buyer's Protection
The seller should verify that the buyer is a licensed FFL or doing a purchase through a licensed FFL. Never sell and send a firearm to a buyer directly, only to an FFL. If unsure of how to make payment, consult your local FFL
