[February 23, 2017] – Known for their full range of RYA practical and theory tidal sailing courses, Canary Sail offers an exclusive family or group sailing course in two locations: the beautiful Island of La Gomera, San Sebastian Marina and Tenerife, San Miguel Marina.

A Range of Options and Exclusive Sailing Course Inclusions

Enrolees may choose between Competent Crew and Coastal Skipper Practical, or may choose to go ‘Just Sailing’. Upon successful completion of the RYA Course, participants will receive a Royal Yachting Association certificate signed by the RYA-qualified instructor.

The course also has a range of inclusions, such as exclusive use of all three cabins (seven nights accommodation), light meals on board and soft drinks, wet weather sailing gear and safety gear (e.g. auto-life jacket and safety harness). It also includes the relevant RYA course booklet or ‘Go Sailing’ book, and an exclusive ‘Canary Sail’ polo shirt.

Choice of Location

Families or groups may choose between two locations. One of them is the beautiful island of Gomera, which is a bus or taxi transfer away from Tenerife South (TFS) airport and a 50-minute ferry crossing from the harbour in Los Cristianos. The location is just off Tenerife and boasts beautiful scenery.

The other location is in Tenerife based in the San Miguel/Amarilla Gold Marina, situated just a 15-minute taxi transfer away from the TFS airport. This is the ideal location for those who prefer convenience.
