Imprisoned beneath Prifddinas, the new demon Zalcano OSRS requires you to fight with Skilling (Mining, Smithing & Runecraft) instead of Combat, which is immune to traditional combat runescape gold damage. Upon completion, you have a chance to get Zalcano shard & Crystal tool seed.

What can Zalcano do during the fight?

There are six abilities of Zalcano, including:
1.She can stomp randomly on the ground, making bolders to fall from the celling, which can be easily avoided by stepping at lease one tile away. And you will take 40+ damage once hit by these.
2.She will summon the blue and orange demonic symbols at random. The blue demonic symbol is helpful to your accuracy and damage very much. However, if you pass through or stand in the orange demonic symbol, your run energy will be reduced.
3.A Golem can be summoned by her randomly, offering her shield back according to the health of of the Golem. 50 shield HP will be granted if the Golem is at full health. And you are likely to hurt the Golem with the imbued tephra.
4.A red ball of energy can be fired randomly by the boss at the current glowing red rock formation to deactivate it, and you will take 24+ damage when near the rock with this happening. To avoid it, you just need walk away from the rock.
5.After falling, she will stand up again when you make her injured, and then she will push you to cause a damage if you are around her.
6.She will attack you with small pebbles when you are in prison but you only take a few hitpoints worth of damage.

To beat Zalcano, you'd better begin at the northeast corner of the prison. Firstly, you should collect tephra through mining the four glowing rock inside the prison and about 3 - 5 tephra is enough to fight with Zalcano in general. Secondly, you should refine them in the furnace right now in the eastern side of the prison and the tephra will become the refined tephra. Thirdly, after that go to the western side of the prison and turn them into imbued tephra. After all of the steps are completed, then you can attack Zalcano and her shield will take 300HP. And it will take three cycles in total to defeat her.
