The aim of the invention is to provide an improved impeller suitable for use in a Foam Pump(KEXON) and improve its performance. According to one aspect of the present invention, an impeller suitable for use in a centrifugal pump is provided, which comprises a pump chamber and a pump inlet; the impeller comprises a main part with multiple main pump blades or blades and one or more guide vanes or blades extending from the main part of the impeller.

According to another aspect of the present invention, a centrifugal pump comprising a pump chamber, a pump inlet and an impeller is provided, in which the impeller comprises a main part with multiple main pump blades or blades and one or more diversions extending from the main part of the impeller to generate the blades or blades; the main part of the impeller is placed in the pump chamber, and the above or each guide blade extends to the pump inlet. In the mouth, the impeller is installed to rotate around the central rotating shaft, and the pump inlet is in the rotating region.

The design scheme is that when the pump is in the installation position, the main part of the impeller is placed in the pump chamber, and the above or each guide vane extends to the pump inlet. The installed impeller can rotate around the central rotating shaft, and the pump inlet is located in the region of the rotating shaft. Then, the fluid is pumped by pumping the blades, so that the fluid flows out from the periphery of the impeller. Therefore, this design scheme makes the fluid flowing into the pump chamber have axial and radial flow components.

In the main part of the impeller, there is a guard plate on one side of the main pump blade, which is separated from the pump inlet at the installation position. In this preferred embodiment, when in an installation position, the pump wheel blade extends from the guard plate and has a free edge adjacent to the pump inlet side of the pump chamber. It is advisable that the above or each guide vane is fixed on the free edge of one or more pump vanes and extended into the inlet during installation. It is advisable that each pump blade has a guide vane associated with it.
