Malt - It is a substance/product that is made from the grain (usually barley) which is firstly soaked in water and then is dried in a hot oven. Now when the seed gets moistened in a warm environment then it begins to grow and produces a bunch of helpful enzymes that can convert the starches in the seed to sugars.
