Alibaba Group Features EventBank Founder Olivia Jingshu Ji as Top Entrepreneur

At the SHE-ERA: 2017 Global Conference on Women and Entrepreneurship, Alibaba Group awarded EventBank Founder Olivia Jingshu Ji as a top 10 female entrepreneur for the company’s first business survey on female entrepreneurship and innovation in China. Event participants included Jim Yong Kim, President of the World Bank Group; Lakshmi Puri, Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations; fashion designer Vera Wang; Chinese actress Sun Li; and Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba. Organized by Alibaba Group, the conference brought together women leaders from business, politics, technology, fashion, and other sectors to discuss gender equality and share their business experiences.

Alibaba’s business survey titled “She-Era Lady Data of the Future” was published by Alibaba Research and issued at the 2017 SHE-ERA conference July 10 and 11 in Hangzhou, China. It features ten leading female entrepreneurs as outstanding entrepreneurship business cases. Selections were based on the leaders’ respective innovative capacities, growth potential, and social impact.
