Newly released research shows that around 40 percent or so of the very best 100 brands in the United Kingdom have mobile friendly web sites in operation, promoting their product. This means that 55 percent don't. The of course is not just larger brands but a lot of web sites for smaller businesses, organisations, individuals & sole traders, tradespeople and the like.

Due to the fact that Smart Phones and Tablets have overtaken the sales with the humble PC, over 45 percent of the traffic on the internet is due to mobile devices being used every day. Around 4 out of quite a few mobile device owners browse, shop, communicate, socially link etc using their mobile devices. There are over a billion mobile devices on this planet and we now need to reflect on how we are to deliver to this very mobile active marketplace.

There is a huge difference between the design strategies for a regular web site and a mobile web site. Attempt looking at a good non-mobile web site on an iPhone for instance; you are squinting and even zooming in and out to look for what you need... and you may not discover it all because you become bored looking! What works well on the LAPTOP Screen (or Mac) hardly works out well on a cell phone device. We need to look at this from a different angle and move web design on its head and start again!

We have to are aware of the the large number of mobile devices which are on the market and in common on a daily basis use. We need to also be mindful of that in order to make the user feel a great one, we need to strip out a lot of the information, decrease the content and leave the bare bones for all to see. This may be a challenge sometimes but it makes you really think about what is really crucial. Only the most relevant information can be shown.

The cell site must stay focused and not swerve away from the info and relevant. The visitor needs to be able to read the site simply just and it must load quickly. This maintains the attention of your visitor and improves the interest factor, rather than having them plot a route away to someone else's site.

You don't need a complex mobile webpage. Many people, perhaps local tradespeople and suppliers have just a singular page site with a call button and email internet connection. Some firms will have multi page mobile sites through content pages, contact forms, images and product points etc .
