After admission to the facility, the patients are given a full psychiatric examination to find out if there are any hidden mental disorders which may be affecting the clients’ ability to maintain sobriety.To add on that, the patients also receive a serious physical examination, nutritional screening and wellness to find out if other concerns may need addressing. Full laboratory tests are conducted to examine if there are any irregularities found in vitamin levels, liver and kidney function, thyroid function, and glucose and lipid levels. They also check the sex hormone levels and the adrenaline function.
