So, I've recently decided to play again. I've got around three or four old accounts registered with at least one of maybe five or four email addresses.. I had additional accounts but deleted them some time ago.. I'm hoping none of them corresponded to my more advanced accounts However, I digress.
I just registered a brand new account/in-game username, I'm not even certain whether I'd input an email address into the input box, however I know my password and my character's name but I'm unsure of the account I'd have entered if actually did. It obviously keeps asking for it, and I've already checked all the email addresses I've received. I'm not certain of the deal is here and how I can get it back my account.
I've tried messaging Jagex for my other Runescape accounts, but they've never returned my messages after two or three days and I'm not sure what they're going to do to me. I'm going to try another time with the new account as I've always wanted to make use of the username, but..
If everything goes wrong in the event that the account is just out of the tutorial, should I just sit and wait until it is deleted due to inactivity? If so then how long will I be required to wait before registering with the preferred name in the game? If not, can I just try contacting Jagex directly at contactus@jagex (that's probably not the same email however it's a similar one and I could download it off of their website..)
I'm still remembering the password to the account. Even if it's been forgotten, I've just forgotten a small portion - if I have to I'm able to re-apply several times until I've got the password correct, if I need to. It's a bit silly But whatever.
