Plano, TX, Aug. 09, 2016 – Readers of not one, but two local editions of Living Magazine have named the Nicholson Clinic tops in bariatric surgery. The clinic itself earned top honors from readers in one area and its founder, Dr. Nick Nicholson, was honored directly by residents of another community.

Living Magazine asks readers of its individual editions throughout Texas to cast their votes in an annual Best of Readers’ Choice Showcase.

Categories include dining, entertainment, healthcare, professional services and retail, among others. The Nicholson Clinic was named having the top bariatric surgeon in the 2016 Best of 380 North Readers’ Choice awards. Dr. Nicholson was honored specifically by readers of the McKinney & Allen edition.

Now in its fourth year, the annual “best of” competition solicits online votes from Living Magazine readers. This year’s voting period ran from Jan. 1 to March 31. Results were collected and tabulated using Survey Monkey software. The winners of this year’s competition were announced in August.
