It was in the previous century that Nu Flow Technologies initially opened its doors. The humble business planned on manufacturing and installing advanced pipe liner solutions for domestic use. “Looking back to those days, we find it sometimes hard to believe how our initial dream simply expanded beyond what we thought was possible. It was once we’ve noticed the need for a small diameter lining that it all changed. It was then when we started working on our unique solution that provided a sleeve within a sleeve to create an internal bladder in sewage lines and pipes. It is due to the success of this initiative that we could expand to where we are today. We are proud to say that our team consists of more than 300 technicians. This all happened in less than 25 years,” says Cameron Manners, president of the highly-regarded name in the field.
Manners then expands on how the brand started to contract its technology to third parties in 2001. Initially, they had only 10 contractors but in as little as seven years, the quality and effectiveness of their solution became such a popular and sought-after phenomenon that their number of contractors stood at 250 in 2008.
Another major jump in their level of success took place in 2006. This was the year when they bought American Pipe Lining. This merger enabled the team to expand its product range and to offer the market even more outstanding solutions.
“There are several highlights in our history that we are very proud of and one of them is that we are still the only company in the pipelining industry that manufactures all our epoxies in-house. We even produce our lining materials. This helps us to keep a close eye on the quality of every solution we have to offer our loyal customers,” Manners further states. Then he concludes proudly by explaining that while their brand has subdivided itself into smaller entities, Nu Flow Technologies remains the manufacturing leg of the business.
