The common uses for UV falls into three categories being, drying (printing electronic components), adhesion (of precision electronic parts) and painting (Coating and dry molded products). UV lights are used in a research capacity for investigating material and production flaws, by means of FPI, applying fluorescent dye to a particular surface before viewing it under UV light.
Although UV is used in a variety of ways such as curing adhesion for camera lenses and curing urethane applied to cards, cable protection film as well as the curing surface for concrete, it is extremely effective when applied to the repair of sewer and other pipeline systems.

When UV light is shone upon this composition, chemical reactions in photo initiator bonds in a process called photo polymerization reaction with oligomers and monomers into a complex chain, referred to as polymers. This basically moves the formation from liquid to a solid state. These objects can be dried, bonded and be painted, once it is cured. UV Curing is referred to as UV drying, UV bonding and UV coating.
