Sound engineering is a field of engineering that deals with the study of music, recording, mixing, editing, and applying effects to audio files, among other things. With the use of technical equipment, sound engineers are responsible for providing exceptional sound quality as well as professionally recorded music, voice, and sound effects.
Scope of Sound Engineering:
• You can see a skilled sound Engineer working in the entertainment and media industry, video and mobile gaming industry, the events industry, theatre, radio, advertising firms, and many more.

• Recording sound during a live concert and maintaining the overall sound quality of the music.

Career opportunities in the field of Sound Engineering: -
• Record Producer – Record producers handle and supervise the whole recording and production process during the creation of a song or an album. From the first phases of pre-production to the final mix, record producers are involved in all aspects of music production.

• Sound Designer – All the amazing background sounds we hear in movies, videos, and other audios are created using special software and other tools and that is the main task of a sound designer. They produce anything from ambiance effects like traffic sounds to spot effects like explosions for theatre performances, advertising, TV, video games, and cartoons.

• Assistant Sound Engineer – An assistant engineer's main role is to assist a record producer and/or recording engineer with everything studio-related.
