Apple provides its customers with a web browser known as Mac Safari which is used by most of the Macintosh Operating System (Mac OS) as a web browser by default. However, sometimes it may happen that during heavy operations while using your MacBook Pro, there may be a chance that Mac Safari does not respond rendering the Activity Monitor of Mac OS to display the message as "Apple Safari Server (Not Responding)” .

To resolve the problem, following points should be taken into account.

1) Re-launch after closing the Safari browser server
The simplest way is to close all the current safari web browser tabs and relaunch it. This will make the activity processing to reload Safari server and redo the task. If you are unable to close it by click, then you can Force Quit Mac Safari Server. To use this option, use the navigation given below:
To open Force Quit menu, press Command+Option+Escape and then Click on Safari and choose Quit.

2) Closing a particular Apple Safari Server
Sometimes, only one of the tabs tend to become unresponsive and if those particular tabs are closed, it results in losing data from other tabs as well. So, you need to close a particular process that has been creating problems.
Click the Activity Monitor and select “Safari Server (Not Responding)” process. All the processes will be listed. Close the specific process and exit the Activity Monitor.

3) Deleting the history in browser
If you delete web browser caches and history, it will make the Mac Safari responsive, but with this option, all the data will be lost which was saved as shortcuts.
After using this option, you will have provided the information again to the Safari Server.
4) Scanning with an anti-virus scan

A virus attack can render any application unresponsive. If Safari server does not respond, it could be due to a virus. To delete the virus, you need to perform an anti-virus scan of the computer which will make the Safari perform better and faster and respond well.
