Watery eye, also known as epiphora, is a common condition that can affect people of all ages. It occurs when tears are overproduced or fail to drain properly, leading to excessive tearing, discomfort, and, in some cases, visual impairment. Pari Shams specialises in diagnosing and treating this condition, offering patients access to personalised care and effective solutions.

A spokesperson for Pari Shams emphasised the importance of addressing watery eye conditions, stating, "Watery eye is not just a minor inconvenience; for many, it can significantly impact daily life. We are dedicated to providing innovative treatments that not only alleviate symptoms but also tackle the underlying causes. Our goal is to help patients regain comfort and confidence."

The approach to treating watery eyes at Pari Shams begins with a thorough evaluation to determine the exact cause of the condition. This may include assessing tear production, checking for blockages in the tear drainage system, and evaluating the health of the eyelids and surrounding tissues. This detailed assessment ensures that each patient receives a treatment plan tailored to their specific needs.

For patients with tear drainage issues, Pari Shams offers a range of advanced procedures, including dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR), a minimally invasive surgery designed to create a new tear drainage pathway. This procedure has a high success rate and provides lasting relief for patients experiencing chronic tearing due to blocked tear ducts.

In cases where overproduction of tears is the primary issue, treatments may include addressing underlying conditions such as dry eye syndrome or inflammation. Pari Shams employs the latest techniques and therapies to restore balance to the tear production process, ensuring that patients experience lasting results.

Patient comfort and safety are top priorities at Pari Shams. Treatments are carried out in a state-of-the-art environment, using advanced technology and techniques to minimise discomfort and downtime. The practice’s dedication to providing a seamless experience has made it a trusted choice for patients seeking relief from watery eye conditions.

Education and communication are integral to the care provided by Pari Shams. Patients are guided through every step of their treatment journey, with clear explanations of their condition, the proposed treatments, and what to expect during recovery. This transparent approach fosters trust and confidence, ensuring that patients feel informed and supported.

Feedback from patients highlights the transformative impact of the treatments offered at Pari Shams. Many report significant improvements in their symptoms, allowing them to return to daily activities without the frustration of constant tearing. These success stories underscore the effectiveness of the innovative solutions provided.
