Canada's healthcare system has been ranked as one of the best in the world. It is an example of a well-functioning, publicly funded system that provides high-quality care at an affordable price.
 
In Canada, all citizens and legal residents are entitled to free medical care under the public health system. This includes doctor visits, hospital visits, and prescription drugs. In the United States, medical services are generally provided by private insurance plans or out-of-pocket payments. However, there are some government programs that provide free or low-cost healthcare services to certain individuals, such as Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). The Affordable Care Act also provides subsidies to help low-income Americans buy health insurance. In general, medical care in the United States is more expensive than in Canada, but there are still options available for those who cannot afford it.
