[[b]Park City[/b], [b]08/11/2016[/b]] — To meet user’s demand for “anytime – anywhere” availability of the CertBlaster® IT certification practice tests and study guides, the company is building a new mobile platform for CertBlaster. Since May 2013, dti Publishing Corp. (the owner of CertBlaster®) has been transitioning its CertBlaster test engine from its Flash base to a new HTML5 based platform. Our developers have adopted an open standards-based architecture offering new tools and capabilities.

dti Publishing’s new HTML5 platform provides capabilities that are critical to its users and partners such as the ability to play on mobile devices (tablets in particular), dropping Flash Player from the system requirements (this is important as Google is this fall dropping support by default of Flash Player in Chrome), and an enhanced learning management system with more data and feedback available to the students. Remediation and study history data as well as an improved gradebook are some of the areas of CertBlaster that sees enhancements under the new platform.

The new HTML5 platform is currently in final testing and will be released to the public in October 2016.
