The 2014 edition of MTV Movie Awards featured some of the coolest fashion trends on the red carpet. The young stars from the movie, television and music industry mesmerised the crowd.

31-year-old singer Nicki Minaj looked stunning in a long black dress by Alexander McQueen and she paired the dress with gold jewellery. Bella Thorne donned a one-sleeved blue dress by Versace and paired it with Jimmy Choo silver heels and clutch. She Carpet Wool Yarns Manufacturers wore jewellery designed by Anita Ko.

26-year-old Snooki, who is pregnant, looked charming in a red floral print dress.

Ellie Goulding looked radiant and happy in an all-white dress. After her successful gig at Coachella, she gave a stunning performance of "Beating Heart" at 2014 MTV Movie Awards.

Singer Ellie said of her sharing the stage with Zedd, Eminem and Rihanna.

"I can't decide whether it will be better or less nerve-racking performing tonight," said Ellie, reported by LA Times.

Shailene Woodley donned an interesting dress from the Pre-Fall 2014 collection by Balmain. The greenish-brown leather dress came with a long-sleeved top and the skirt had a huge belt of the same colour.

Shailene Woodley stars alongside Ansel Elgort in "The Fault in Our Stars" and they presented a preview clip for the film which hits the theatres this June.

"Fans have already seen the trailer and I think they will be excited to see a scene for the first time. It's a good movie -- we put a lot of heart and soul into it," said Ansel.
