Output optical power

The standard series of PL2000H high-power EDFA is based on 2540dBm optical power before splitter. You can make modifications to the specified output power of up to 43dBm prior to splitter. This optical amplifier features an integrated optical power splitter that can provide up to 128 output ports. Standard output power ports are 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 or 64.

Control Modes

The PL2000H can also be configured using one of the three optical output power control modes.
APC (Automatic power Control): Output optical power level stabilization
ACC (Automatic Current Control), Pump Current Level Stabilization
AGC (Automatic Gain Control), Optical Gain Level Stabilization Measurement

Optical Switch (Optional)

Upon customer request, PL2000H can have an automatic redundant input port. The optical power level at each input port is independently measured, so you can instantly switch between the primary and backup input ports when the power on signal comes on. 

WDM PON

Depending on the customer's request, PL2000H can have a PON port. This allows for GPON, EPON and XGS-PON networks.

Management

All PL2000H optical amplifiers come with a Web server built in. This web server can be accessed by any popular browser. The menu of interactive Web pages allows for monitoring and control of the amplifier. Our SNMP Manager allows for on-demand monitoring of amplifiers. The mechanical All 2000 series amplifiers come in a 19" standard 2U (1U) and 3U (3U) configuration. They are equipped with three reliable cooling fans that operate in parallel with microprocessor heat protection. The Amplifier can operate at temperatures up to 50°C.
