New Delhi, March, 2nd 2024: The Muthoot Group pays a humble tributes its visionary leader, Late Shri M. G. George Muthoot, Former Group Chairman on his 3rd memorial anniversary. His pioneering initiatives and philanthropic efforts have left behind an indelible mark on the society by positively impacting the lives of millions of people. To commemorate 3rd memorial anniversary of Shri. M. G. George Muthoot, a mega CSR event was executed on 2nd March 2024 at Paul George Global School, New Delhi. Through these CSR initiatives thousands of underprivileged and needy beneficiaries will be benefitted.

Shri. Robin Hibu (IPS), Special Commissioner of Delhi Police and Additional Director General of Police was the Chief Guest of this Mega CSR Event. The Event was also graced by Dr. Sara George Muthoot, Director St. George’s School and Paul George Global School along with Shri Alexander George Muthoot, Joint Managing Director of The Muthoot Group. Senior officials of the Corporate Office and Paul George Global School also attended the event. The details of the CSR initiatives are mentioned below:

CSR Vivahsammanam Project: Distribution of Rs. 1,00,000/- Cheque to each of 10 newly married girls from widowed mothers in Delhi and NCR, promoting financial empowerment for the underprivileged girls through the CSR initiative Vivahsammanam. This project was started in the year 2004 and till date the Group has supported 4642 Girls and their families in Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Kolkata and Delhi.

Education Empowerment: Over 100 school uniforms were donated to poor and needy children who are getting informal education at a makeshift school in the vicinity of the Red Fort Delhi popularly known as Than Singh Pathasala.

Technological Advancement in Education: Handover of 60 Smart Classroom equipment set, each set included 1 Smart Board, 1 Projector, 1 Computer System, 1 Podium and 1 Speaker) to 11 NGOs, contributing to the enhancement of educational resources for needy students of Delhi NCR. This donation will ensure quality new age education to thousands of students through state of Art Technology.

Enhanced Accessibility for Differently Abled: Under this special CSR Initiative a brand new EECO Van dedicated to the transportation of over 100 differently-abled Children, aligning with the commitment to inclusivity and accessibility for the needy children of our society.
