The new Sunrise State of India, Andhra Pradesh, takes leadership position at TieCon 2016 on the Smart Cities and Smart Villages Track. TieCon 2016 is the world's largest forum on technology innovation and entrepreneurship focused on Indian diaspora being held in Santa Clara, California on May 6-7, 2016.

Mr. JA Chowdary, IT Advisor and Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu, will showcase AP 'Smart State ' concepts for boosting the economic development of the State by building an integrated community of many smart villages, smart towns and smart cities. He plans to highlight how AP's digital initiative is bringing broadband to every home and how the Smart State initiatives will transform health, security, safety, education, agriculture, banking, commerce and transportation for the people of AP. The new Digital 2.0 skills development initiative that is poised to be game-changing for the AP IT industry will be discussed at the conference. This initiative brings together world class universities, top industry leaders, startups, venture capital firms, and the AP government to foster innovation and entrepreneurship.

AP has reserved an exclusive exhibition corridor to showcase the concepts and will highlight how Cisco, IBM Watson, Google, Qualcomm, HP, AWS, SAP and other technologies can be leveraged for Smart State programs. AP representative will also be speaking at the 'Future of the Cloud' technology track. AP will showcase its IT innovation policy and incentives for partner companies.
