1. Agarbatti- Agarbatti - also known as Incense sticks are the sticks made from aromatic biotic material like charcoal, barks, seeds, roots, flowers, powdered wood, rhizomes, and many more. These sticks are an integral part of the ceremonies and produce a pleasant scent that has significant therapeutic and comforting effects on the body and mind.

2. Leaves- Hinduism has a strong connection to nature which is reflected in its ritualistic practices such as puja. In several puja rites, leaves from the banana, mango, and coconut trees are used as it is believed that Brihaspati (Jupiter) is represented by the banana tree.

5. Holy water- The seven Holy Rivers are the Ganga, Godavari, Narmada, Kaveri, Krushna, Brahmaputra, and Yamuna - also known as The Sacred Rivers. During the ceremonies, the water collected from each of the seven rivers are used. It is believed that the vibrations and energy of these waters subsequently helps in purifying the soul and the body.

6. Vermillion- It is said that the negative energy does not come around if you have your midbrow area on the forehead covered with this vermilion. The sattva component of vermilion has progressively faded with the passage of time.

7. Statue of deity- The statue of deity , also known as Murti, is a general term for a cult image such as a statue, or "idol of a deity or saint in Hindu tradition. It is a symbolic icon and serves as a significant image in pooja chowkis. In Hinduism, a murti is not a god in itself, but rather the form, embodiment, or incarnation of a deity like Hanuman Idols.
