ABOUT NADIA CARMON

Nadia Carmon is a creative professional whose 8+ years of experience in writing and burgeoning skillset in upselling and client building has been instrumental in the development of several independent ventures. Since 2008, she has been a Contributing Writer in the Arts and Entertainment genre for seven publications; a growing list that most recently includes the alternative luxury magazines Prysm (now Fantome) and DeVour. In addition to writing about film and music for Prysm Magazine, she has also functioned as a PR rep for the publication; pitching to and networking with media outlets to collaborate on features about the magazine and writing press releases to expose the general public to the startup.

In 2016, Carmon authored two press releases for the Australian record label Lighthouse Records (For social venture/music nonprofit One Vision Productions and indie rock band The Imperials) and penned a feature on the dark country outlaws Heathen Apostles for Symbols Magazine.

As a screenwriter, two of her shorts have been produced, including the 2014 experimental film Stranger, starring Lydia Darly (Exorcist: The Beginning, The Way You Love) and directed by Jeremiah Kipp (Atlas of the Soul, The Minions, The Days God Slept).

She is the founder of Wet Ink Press Co, a freelance writer-for-hire venture providing original content to a variety of industries, both fiction and nonfiction-based. Carmon intends to strengthen her portfolio by being open to virtually any type of project. However, her niche is press releases, screenwriting/script doctoring, blogging, and email pitching/cold calling. She also intends to branch into songwriting, slogans and other forms of inventive wordplay.
