GenoDrive Reviews Today we know that hormones are one

GenoDrive Reviews Today we know that hormones are one of the body's greatest means of communication (the others are the nervous and immune systems). Basically, hormones are proteins with a special function: they communicate information from one organ to one or more others. A hormone, released by one of the dozens of glands, moves through the blood until it reaches a cell with a hormone specific receptor. Then, like a key in a lock, the molecule attaches to the receiver and sends a signal inside the cell. The signal may tell the cell to produce some protein or multiply. The word "hormone" was introduced in 190 by a British physiologist, Professor Ernest Starling .
