B. Tech Eligibility

The standard method to enter the programme and to get admission in B. Tech. programmes are that the students must finish their schooling with science in 12th from any board. In the programme, it is advised that he or she has Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the main subjects, as people from this subject group are favoured for the programme.

However, there is another method which is the lateral entry system. SIT is one such college that provides b tech lateral entry direct admission. With the use of the lateral entry system, students who have a diploma in engineering fields are eligible to register in a Bachelor of Technology programme in the second year. The lateral entry scheme is meant for students who have joined or are doing diploma courses after the 10th or 12th in various technical professions and aim to get admission in B. Tech.

The basic required eligibility criteria to get admission in B.
